Blogger Overview

After login in blogger, it will directly take you to blogger dashboard. By clicking any of the blog title, it will sent you to the blogger overview page.

This overview page will give you the total overview of your blog. You can find the traffic statistics, Comments awaiting moderation, Published comments, Pageviews today, Posts, Followers etc in one place.

There are also some buttons and links to help you go other places directly from here.

At the top left corner, there are four buttons. 1st one will take you to blogger dashboard, 2nd button for creating new posts, the 3rd and 4th will show post list and blog respectively.

At the top right corner, you find your blogger profile and blogger options.

The left menu will help you to edit your blog. There are New post button again, Overview, Posts, Pages, Comments, Stats, Earnings, Layout, Template and Settings links. My next posts will discuss about these options of blogger.

Blogger Dashboard

After you login to your blogger.com account, it will directly take you to the Blogger Dashboard. In your blogger dashboard, there is a list of all your blogs.

There are some buttons which can help you to Create a new blog, Create new post to any of your blogs, Go to post list of any blog, Go to other options of your blog or just View your blog. By clicking any of tha blog title, you are sent to the blog overview page.

Start Blogging!

Now that you have a blog. Start blogging. 

Click the link "Start blogging!" and create your posts. You can post about anything you want/you are good at. Blog regularly, don't be upset if no one ever visits your blog. Just create blog by your own interest. Visitors will come. Trust me.

At the starting of your blog visitors don't know about the blog you are creating. Your blog not even listed in search engines. Updating blog regularly is the best way to be listed in search engines. The more you create, the more search engines send bots to visit your blog and update logs about your blog.

To attract visitors, your blog should contain some unique posts. It is a good practice to blog about something you are good at. That will pull more visitors to your blog.

How to Create a Blog?

So, I was talking about blogs. Let's see how to create one. In this blog I'm going to show only about blogger.com. Lets follow Three simple steps to create a blog.

Step One:

Go to www.blogger.com. Click to register your blog. You only need an email address for the signup process (not gmail, any email ID will work).

Step Two:

Signin with your google account or create one with your own email ID.

Step Three:

Enter title, chose an address which is also available and chose a template for your blog. Then hit the Create Blog button and you are done.
